These terms cover using YallaMazad to browse, bid on, and win timed auctions in Iraq. Please read them before you bid.
YallaMazad is a timed-auction marketplace for verified bidders in Iraq. Winners pay cash on delivery. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
You must be 18 or older to create an account or use YallaMazad. By signing up, you confirm that you are. We may close an account if we learn that its owner is under 18.
New accounts start as pending. An operator reviews and approves accounts before they can bid; browsing stays open to everyone.
We may reject, suspend, or ban an account for fraud, abuse, non-payment, or attempting to bypass a suspension by creating a new account.
Placing a bid is a binding commitment to buy the item at that price if you win. Only bid if you are able and willing to pay and receive delivery.
Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed.
We may correct a live auction's photos, description, or item condition to fix a genuine mistake. We never change the starting price, bid increment, reserve price, or end time of a live auction.
Corrections do not cancel bids already placed. If a listing is found to be materially wrong, we may cancel the auction instead.
The winning bidder pays the winning bid amount plus a delivery fee, in cash, to the courier at the time of delivery. Any store credit applied to the order is deducted first. We do not collect card or bank details - payment is cash on delivery only.
The delivery fee is shown before or at delivery.
If a delivery cannot be completed because the winner is unavailable or refuses to pay, it counts as a failed delivery. Two failed deliveries suspend the account from bidding.
We may suspend or permanently ban an account for non-payment, abusive behaviour, fraud, or attempts to evade a previous ban. A suspended or banned account cannot place bids.
Gift boxes are rewards. You can get one by inviting a friend (you and your friend each get a box after your friend's first qualifying order is delivered; a minimum order amount and limits apply, shown in the app), as a launch gift, or when we give you one. We may add other ways to earn them.
Every gift box you open contains a reward: store credit, a free delivery, or a store product. Opening a box is free and needs an approved account. A launch gift needs no purchase to receive. If a box contains a product, it is delivered as an order: the ordinary delivery fee applies, and prize items cannot be returned.
Store credit can only be used to pay for your items at checkout. It is never paid out as cash, it cannot be transferred or sold to another person, and it has no value outside YallaMazad. Delivery is still paid in cash at the door, unless a free-delivery reward is applied.
Boxes and credit can expire. An expired box can no longer be opened, and credit can expire if your wallet sits unused for a long time. Credit that has expired shows in your wallet history.
Unused credit and unopened gift boxes are lost when you delete your account. We may cancel rewards, credit or boxes that were obtained by abuse, such as fake accounts or false invitations.
Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in any way with, these rewards.
You can permanently delete your account yourself, from Account > Settings, at any time. See the Delete Your Account page for exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
The service is operated for use in Iraq. These terms are written in plain language and are not a substitute for legal advice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
